Job summary

ITG Brands, LLC seeks an Assistant Controller in Cayey, Puerto Rico to support the Senior Factory Controller with accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, compliance, and audits. The role also serves as the site SAP subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to finance and cross-functional teams.

You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, lead standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost rollups; monitor variances in production, labor,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in progressive accounting and finance roles.
• Strong experience in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting.
• Experience working with external auditors or public accounting firms.
• Experience leading or participating in cross-functional projects; manufacturing environment required; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and schedules.
• Lead manufacturing cost accounting activities, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Monitor variances in production, labor, materials, and overhead; propose improvements.
• Coordinate inventory accounting processes and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Serve as SAP Finance and Costing expert and provide end-user training.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Assist with audits and liaise with internal/external auditors.
