Job summary

Trenton Pressing in North Georgia is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the Accounting and Finance function and partner with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership.

The role emphasizes strengthening standard costing, inventory valuation, ERP utilization (Plex), and building a scalable finance organization to support growth while ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation and standard costing.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare GAAP-based financial statements and reports.
• Develop KPI reporting and executive presentations.
• Oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation in Plex.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve costing accuracy.
