Job summary

FPC National, a mid-sized manufacturing company in North Atlanta, is seeking a Financial Leader to partner with the CEO. In this role, you will oversee the accounting function, enhance financial reporting, and lead improvements in accounting systems.

Join a mid‑sized, privately held manufacturing company as the key financial leader partnering directly with the CEO. In this role, you will own the full accounting function, drive better financial reporting and cash management, and lead a major upgrade of the company’s accounting systems. The business has come through an industry reset and is now stabilized and focused on improving performance and positioning for future growth. Located in North Georgia mountains approximately 80-90 miles north of Atlanta.

YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU

• Have deep experience in manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost accounting, and margin analysis in an environment with meaningful product flow.
• Can confidently own cash forecasting, banking relationships, and day‑to‑day treasury decisions while keeping leadership informed of risks and options.
• Enjoy leading a small accounting team as a true leader‑doer who balances hands‑on work with coaching and developing others.
• Are energized by fixing broken processes, implementing new systems or automations, and turning complex financial data into clear, practical insights for non‑finance leaders.

TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU’LL NEED

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with at least 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including several years in a Controller or plant Controller role in manufacturing. You should bring proven experience leading a small team, running month‑end close, managing audits and lenders, and implementing or upgrading accounting systems in an inventory‑based environment.
