Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a hands-on Controller for a growing manufacturing company in Marietta, GA. You will lead monthly close, GAAP reporting, ERP implementation, audits, and inventory accounting, partnering with operations and leadership to build scalable finance processes.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in high-growth environments, a CPA, and deep expertise in ERP systems and internal controls. This is an in-office role with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth environments.
• GAAP, audits, ERP systems, and internal controls expertise.
• Experience in manufacturing, inventory, or project accounting preferred.
• Hands-on leadership with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
• Lead ERP implementation and drive improvements across accounting systems, controls, and processes.
• Support audit readiness, inventory accounting, capital projects, and fixed asset management.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, engineering, and executive leadership.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure and help grow the accounting and finance team over time.
