Job summary

Winnebago Industries, Inc. in Nappanee, IN seeks a Controller to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, drive GAAP-compliant reporting, and strengthen internal controls across manufacturing accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Significant progressive accounting leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Experience leading an accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany activity, and reconciliations.
• Manage internal controls and SOX compliance; document, test, and follow up on issues.
• Oversee product costing, standard costs, and inventory valuation; cycle counts and reserves.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external teams; provide documentation and responses.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, cash controls, and working-capital reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and finance on budgeting and forecasting.
• Improve accounting processes and automation; lead ERP/reporting enhancements.
• Coach and develop accounting staff; support business partners with insights.
