Job summary

CTG is seeking a Controller I for a W2 contract based in Keene, NH. The role oversees financial integrity for a complex discrete-manufacturing operation, partnering with Operations to connect financial results to production performance.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in cost and managerial accounting, strong costing, BOM, and P&L skills, and proven experience with SOX controls in an ERP/MES environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cost and managerial accounting experience in a complex discrete-manufacturing environment
• Strong expertise in standard costing, BOMs, work orders, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory, absorption, and plant P&L reporting
• Experience with SOX and other internal controls, including inventory and revenue-cycle controls
• Strong ERP and MES experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience partnering with Operations and manufacturing leadership to connect financial results with production performance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to challenge unsupported assumptions and deliver accurate, decision-useful financial analysis

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate plant financials and monthly P&L reporting
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to inform decision-making
• Support standard costing, BOMs, and work orders with inventory management
• Provide product-line and program margin analysis
• Forecast capital and inventory needs and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure audit-ready financial reporting and challenge assumptions when data doesn't support results
