Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Controller for a fast-growing clean energy manufacturing company in Denver, CO. The role will own close processes, financial reporting, ERP implementation, audits, and internal controls while building a high-performing accounting team.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to scale the finance function and establish scalable financial infrastructure in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, ERP systems, and internal controls.
• Experience with manufacturing, clean energy, inventory, or project accounting preferred.
• Hands-on leadership with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly close, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance.
• Lead ERP implementation and improve accounting systems, controls, and processes.
• Support audit readiness, inventory accounting, capital projects, and fixed assets.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Build scalable accounting infrastructure and help grow the finance team over time.
