Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group seeks a Finance & Site Controller for a manufacturing site in Gainesville, GA. This role leads a small finance team, drives budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and partners with site leadership to optimize profitability and operations.

The position requires extensive month‑end close experience, strong internal controls, and a track record of cost optimization. Travel to the site is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years experience with month‑end close processes, account reconciliations, and accounting management.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to commute to the site.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Present monthly financial reviews to site and regional leadership.
• Coordinate external audits and compliance reporting.
• Ensure reliability of standard costing and perform variance analysis.
• Manage CapEx, inventory and fixed assets at the site level.
• Act as strategic partner to site leadership.
• Contribute to site strategic planning and action plans.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending solutions.
