Job summary

Accelerate Talent Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations in a Marshfield, MO manufacturing environment. You will manage month-end closes, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The role emphasizes internal controls, ERP optimization (Dynamics 365), and collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to improve reporting and data access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, communicating, and analyzing financial plans and forecasts.
• Monitor working capital, inventory levels and asset utilization.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure timely close of month, quarter and year-end and maintain strong internal controls.
• Support audits and drive process improvements through ERP enhancements and data analytics.
