Job summary

Sizemore Welding is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the monthly close, strengthen inventory and product costing, and improve financial controls. You will lead ERP implementation efforts to connect financial and operational data across purchasing, inventory, production, and accounting.

The role requires deep experience in manufacturing finance, close processes, and ERP projects, with the ability to partner with operations and external providers to drive reliable information for decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Hands-on inventory and product/cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow reports, and management reporting.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
• Experience supporting ERP selection, start-up, implementation, conversion, or improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements and reports.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, banking, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting activities.
• Ensure reliable inventory accounting and product costing.
• Lead ERP selection, start-up, implementation, and integration efforts.
• Develop and strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and processes.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis to inform leadership decisions on revenue, margins, cash flow, and operations.
