Job summary

Sizemore Welding in Bunnell, FL is seeking a hands-on Controller to own the monthly close, strengthen inventory costing, and drive robust financial controls in a growing manufacturing operation. You'll lead ERP initiatives, connect purchasing, inventory, work orders, and accounting, and deliver actionable financial analysis to help leadership optimize margins and cash flow on the shop floor.

Experience with ERP start-ups and manufacturing cost accounting is highly valued, as you will partner

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
Hands-on responsibility for month-end close and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly close process and prepare timely, accurate financial statements and management reports.
Maintain GL integrity and oversee AP/AR, banking, reconciliations and other day-to-day activities.
Establish reliable inventory accounting and reconcile physical inventory with records and GL.
Develop and maintain product costing (material, labor, overhead).
Analyze margins, variances, labor efficiency, scrap/rework, and cost drivers.
