Job summary

Knauf Insulation North America seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to champion CI across the plant, coaching leaders, driving safety, quality and productivity improvements.

This role requires 5+ years in industrial manufacturing with Lean Six Sigma expertise; SAP familiarity preferred. You will grow CI capability, promote data-driven decisions and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or related field.
• Black or Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years’ leadership or engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Minimum two (2) years’ Continuous Improvement/Lean Six Sigma experience.
• Knowledge of CI tools, 5S audits, root cause analysis, statistics, and mechanics.
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual CI plan with plant leadership and publish it.
• Facilitate the plant CI Steering Committee and improve the CI program.
• Lead regular improvement workshops with leadership and staff.
• Develop and update a plant CI training plan and deliver training.
• Cultivate CI culture with leader standard work, visual controls and accountability.
• Apply root cause analysis, Lean Six Sigma, A3 problem solving, and related tools.
• Visually track and publicize CI results.
