Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive a culture of sustainable CI and engage the workforce at the Mebane, NC site. You will act as a change agent to elevate plant performance, lead CI projects, and partner with site leaders to align improvements with safety, quality, cost, service, and people goals.

The role requires manufacturing experience with a Lean Six Sigma background and strong coaching abilities to build capability and sustain gains across the plant.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not required.
• Ability to lead and influence to drive positive change.
• Experience leading team-based process improvement projects in manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI initiatives to improve plant performance and productivity.
• Coach and mentor project leaders and teams to deliver results.
• Track financial progress and document savings in productivity trackers.
• Partner with site leaders to align CI priorities with business goals.
• Support deployment of standard operating systems and enterprise initiatives.
