Atlantic Group is seeking an Accounting Manager (Manufacturing) in Chester County, PA to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and cost accounting within a growing manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in progressive accounting, strong manufacturing knowledge, and expertise in standard costing and variance analysis. This hybrid, Monday–Friday role offers a competitive salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including financial reporting and month-end close.
• Manufacturing accounting experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency; experience with automation or process improvement is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and deadline-driven work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting.
• Manage standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and related manufacturing accounting activities.
• Support audits and strengthen accounting controls and documentation.
• Drive process improvements across systems, close procedures, and reporting workflows.
• Lead and develop accounting staff while promoting accountability and collaboration.
