Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Lead in Tucson to supervise and optimize day-to-day production with a cross-functional team. You will drive manufacturing schedules, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with engineering, quality, and supply chain.

The role requires a background in manufacturing or operations, prior leadership experience, and eligibility for a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in manufacturing/operations.
An Advanced Degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience is also acceptable.
Experience leading a team or managerial experience is required.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision and responsibility for 20+ bargaining unit employees and additional technical staff.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream MCLs and leadership.
Apply manufacturing principles and lean transformation activities to daily execution.
Deploy CORE structure and tier accountability for continuous improvement.
Oversee product-focused processes, tooling, equipment and test architecture.
Provide performance feedback and mentor team members.
