Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Lean Transformation professional to plan and lead high-performing lean manufacturing work cells across complex production environments. You will drive workshops, value stream maps, and policy deployments with leadership and shop floor teams in Andover, MA.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 8+ years of engineering experience and a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after day one. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and transform existing work cells into high-performing lean manufacturing work cells utilizing the established lean transformation standard work and methods.
Facilitate Manufacturing Standard Work and Cell Design workshops.
Facilitate Integrated Production Logistics workshops.
Facilitate Lean Bootcamps with factory personnel and staff.
Facilitate advanced Value Stream Mapping events.
Serve as Lean subject matter expert during CORE Leadership Weeks (CLW).
Co-facilitate internal organization policy deployment and goal alignment sessions.
