Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Lean Manufacturing Engineer to transform and optimize manufacturing work cells. You will lead standard work, cell design, and value stream initiatives across multiple production areas, collaborating with factory leadership and hourly staff.

The role requires a STEM degree and extensive experience in Lean principles, with security clearance and US citizenship as prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Lean manufacturing practices regarding hardware flow and cell design.
• Excellent change management and effective communication skills.
• CORE Expert or Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and transform existing work cells into high-performing lean manufacturing work cells using standard work and methods.
• Facilitate Manufacturing Standard Work and Cell Design workshops.
• Facilitate Integrated Production Logistics workshops.
• Facilitate Lean Bootcamps with factory personnel and staff.
• Facilitate advanced Value Stream Mapping events.
• Serve as Lean subject matter expert during CORE Leadership Weeks (CLW).
• Co-facilitate internal organization policy deployment and goal alignment sessions.
