Cyient seeks an experienced Business Unit Manager to lead a manufacturing BU focused on excellence, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and growth. Responsibility spans operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and CI initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will drive profitability, build high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes through Lean, Six Sigma, and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years in progressive manufacturing operations roles.
• 5+ years in leadership of a manufacturing operation or BU.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations with safety, quality, and productivity focus.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with goals and growth.
• Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability for the BU.
• Establish KPIs to drive excellence in operations, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and PMO on commitments.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives to reduce waste and costs.
• Coach and develop a high-performing leadership team and culture of accountability.
• Assess risks and implement mitigation for operational continuity.
• Plan capacity, allocate resources, and scale operations for growth.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, customer requirements, and standards.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Present updates on operational, financial, and strategic performance to executives.
