Zusammenfassung

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk for a manufacturing client. This full-time position offers a Mon-Fri schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with a pay range of $18–$22 per hour. You will prepare invoices, verify charges, and collaborate with Accounting, Sales, and Shipping to ensure accurate billing.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in billing or AR, strong Excel skills, and the ability to research discrepancies. Prior ERP/MRP experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related administrative experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, distribution, or job-shop experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with customer purchase orders and shipping documents is a plus.
• Familiarity with an ERP/MRP or accounting system preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare customer invoices using purchase orders, sales orders, job orders, and shipment records.
• Review completed jobs and shipping documents to ensure all billable items are invoiced.
• Verify pricing, payment terms, freight, quantities, and customer-specific billing requirements.
• Prepare credit memos, debit memos, and invoice adjustments as authorized.
• Review job costs, including materials, labor, outside services, and additional charges.
• Compare job documentation with customer purchase orders and agreed pricing.
• Work with Production, Operations, and Shipping to resolve discrepancies.
• Match purchase orders with sales orders, job orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate billing records in the company’s ERP/MRP system.
• Respond to customer billing questions and provide invoices or supporting documents.
• Research disputed invoices and assist with accounts receivable and collection support.
• Help with month-end billing, open-job reviews, billing reports, and reconciliations.
