Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. in Olympia, WA is seeking a Back End Supervisor to oversee equipment and PM&R personnel, driving safety, quality, and productivity on the plant floor.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in a high-speed manufacturing setting with at least 3 years of supervisory experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and experience with MRC, Decorators, LSM, Neckers and Palletizers is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 5–7 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of proven supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Packaging industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises equipment and PM&R personnel to optimize safety, quality, productivity and spoilage.
• Communicates information between departments and shifts about changes, production problems or related information.
• Works with employees to identify solutions and implement repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Provides on-the-job training and coaching as needed.
• Manages PM&R activities and inspects products to ensure standards compliance.
• Completes documentation such as time, attendance, safety cards, reports and control sheets.
