Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production teams and ensure a quality product that meets customer expectations.

You will coordinate equipment, production schedules and safety initiatives, while coaching staff and implementing process improvements. A strong background in high-speed manufacturing and supervisory experience is required, with flexibility for night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED.
• Five to seven year(s) experience in a high speed manufacturing environment.
• At least three years of proven supervisory experience.
• Must be available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises activities of equipment and personnel with focus on Safety, Quality, Productivity and Spoilage.
• Communicates production changes and problems between departments and shifts.
• Identifies and implements fixes on machinery and equipment problems.
• Performs on-the-job training and coaching of employees.
• Applies knowledge of processes to improve plant production.
• Manages machinery setup and inspection for quality compliance.
• Oversees quality and modifies standards to optimize performance within equipment limits.
• Completes documentation such as production sheets, time and attendance, and process control sheets.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
