Job summary
Moog Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer to transform manual production into automated, scalable processes using robotics and internal AI tools.
The role supports four production floors and collaborates with Design, Software, and IT to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this on-site position in Highland Heights/Cleveland area offers relocation assistance and a path to leadership in cross-functional projects within a growing aerospace
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing automation.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Experience in industrial automation, equipment specification, and project delivery.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, robotics, and IT system integration.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Develop specifications and vendor proposals for automation solutions.
- Onboard and integrate new equipment into production.
- Create documentation and provide training to teams.
- Monitor projects and report progress to stakeholders.
