Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer to transform manual production processes into automated, scalable systems across multiple floors. You will work onsite at Highland Heights, OH, collaborating with Design, Software, and IT teams to deliver cross-functional automation projects.

The role requires a 5+ year background in manufacturing automation, knowledge of PLC/HMI/robotics, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing automation.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Proven experience in industrial automation, equipment specification, and manufacturing project delivery.
• Knowledge of control systems (PLC, HMI, robotics) and integration with IT systems.
• Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Nice-to-have: ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation initiatives from concept through commissioning, including scope definition and timelines.
• Integrate automation equipment with plant networks, MES, ERP, and data systems in partnership with IT.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in collaboration with EH&S and Facilities teams.
