Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the team and help ensure surface mount and through-hole solder meets IPC standards.

You will build partial or full boxes or systems using PCBA, sheet metal, plastics, and hardware, while inspecting your own work for quality. You will maintain a clean work area, communicate quality issues to the team or manager, and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle small/fragile components and wield common tools.
• Ability to read and use visual aids and drawings to verify quality.

• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes and equipment such as sheet metal, mechanical parts, and hardware.
• Understanding of torque basics and torque requirements.
