Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the team and help ensure surface mount and through-hole solder meets IPC standards.

You will build partial or full boxes or systems using PCBA, sheet metal, plastics, and hardware, while inspecting your own work for quality. You will maintain a clean work area, communicate quality issues to the team or manager, and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment.

The Manufacturing Associate collaborates directly with the team coordinator and department manager to ensure surface mount and through hold solder meets or exceeds IPC standards. This position is key to company quality standards.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronic manufacturing experience.
• Experience with building box or system level units.
