Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for the Finishing/Bindery on the nighttime shift from 7p to 7a. We train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and become part of a team delivering printed materials you can be proud of.

You’ll feed signatures into machines, pack books, and move materials safely while upholding quality standards. Training is provided, with overtime opportunities and a path for growth in a stable, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• High school Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, add/subtract, and ability to use a measuring device.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem,we'll train you. We're looking for people who:

• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
