Amgen's Rhode Island facility is seeking an Associate Manufacturing professional to execute cell culture, purification, and solution batching within an Agile Manufacturing Excellence team. You will operate under GMP, SOP, MRD standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting multiple manufacturing areas.

The role includes a 12-hour rotating shift with built-in overtime and Sundays premium pay, plus onboarding with training across ARI areas.

Qualificações

• High school/GED plus 2 years manufacturing or operations experience.
• Associate’s degree plus 6 months manufacturing or operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of large‑scale biotechnology operations such as purification, cell culture, aseptic processing.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cell culture, purification, weigh & dispense, and solutions batching in Agile Manufacturing Excellence teams in two drug substance plants.
• Follow SOPs, MPs, JHAs, and CFRs; monitor critical manufacturing processes.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and assist in documentation reviews.
• Initiate and own area deviations when applicable; review batch records and audits.
• Train staff on hands-on tasks; serve as safety representative as needed.
• Provide operational feedback and identify improvements in routine functions.
• Collaborate with cross-area teams for peak demand and campaign support.
• Maintain training and proficiency across assigned areas.
