PDS Tech Commercial in Athens, GA is hiring Manufacturing Assemblers for a climate-controlled facility. You will assemble components for refrigeration units, perform setup and minor maintenance, and ensure quality through inspections and testing.

The role requires safety-minded, detail-oriented individuals able to lift up to 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a fast-paced environment. Pay is $16/hour with overtime potential and a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for installation on refrigeration units.
• Perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments, and minor preventive maintenance.
• Conduct assembly and inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Run tests on assemblies and equipment to verify safety and productivity before production.
• Complete work within established cycle times.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Assemble hardware using clamps, clips, and brackets.
• Maintain shop supplies, floor stock, and production tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain departmental quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do
