Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/technical certification.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and testing devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electromechanical and aerospace components with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, routers, and work instructions.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, including wiring, cable preparation, soldering, bearing installation, and subassembly fabrication.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, pneumatic tools, and testing fixtures.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete production documentation accurately and report material or process issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Build the Future of Aerospace as an Electromechanical Assembler

Location: Wichita, KS | Payrate: $20-$22/hour | Schedule: 1st shift, 7am to 4pm

Are you a hands-on professional with strong mechanical skills and a passion for precision? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking Electromechanical Assemblers to help build high-quality aerospace components used in mission‑critical applications.

In this role, you'll assemble complex electromechanical products, interpret blueprints, perform testing, and ensure every component meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble complex electromechanical and aerospace components with precision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, routers, and work instructions.

Required

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or vocational/technical certification
• 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and testing devices

Preferred

• Aerospace, aviation, defense, or other regulated manufacturing experience
• Experience with soldering, electrical wiring, pneumatic sealing systems, or electromechanical devices
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes

Pay Details

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour
