Job summary

Badger Meter Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks a manufacturing assembler to join a multi-skill production team. You will perform meter assembly, testing, injection molding and packaging across several workstations, while following safety guidelines and production schedules.

The role requires basic computer use, math skills, and the ability to read and follow instructions. Daily tasks include operating molding equipment, performing quality checks, and assisting with customer-ready packaging.

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED preferred
• 0-1 years of related experience preferred
• Ability to pass forklift and hazmat training required
• Basic proficiency with computers required
• Basic skills in math required
• Basic ability to read, write, and speak English preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble meters and perform testing and packaging per instructions
• Set up and operate meter testing equipment and monitor schedules
• Operate plastic injection molding machines and perform secondary operations
• Assemble and test register units and related components
• Perform quality checks using gauges, inspection tools and CMMs
• Load, unload and prepare materials for outgoing shipments
