Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a dedicated assembler to join our Milwaukee manufacturing team. The role covers meter assembly, molding, and registration assembly with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will operate equipment, perform testing, and ensure daily production targets are met while adhering to company standards. Ideal candidates have a High School/GED, basic computer and math skills, and are able to pass forklift and hazmat training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training required.
• Basic proficiency with computers; basic math skills; English reading/writing/speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble meters and meter-related components following work instructions with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Operate injection molding and related equipment, perform secondary operations and quality checks.
• Perform register assembly and testing, including PC board assemblies and related sub-assemblies.
• Support machining and related processes, ensuring output meets production schedules and quality standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas; lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods.
