Job Title: Assembler

Location: Richmond, VA 23231

Job Duration: 12+ Months

Pay Rate: $19/hr for 1st shift and $22/hr for 2nd shift

Shift timings: 1st (7AM-3:30PM) & 2nd (3PM-11:30PM)

Interviews on Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9, 2025

Applicants need to be flexible working on both shifts

Job Description:

Basic Function:

Under the direction of production supervision, the Production Assembler builds high-quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company standards, customer specifications, and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Typical duties/responsibilities:

• Assemble products following engineering documents, ensuring quality, standards, goals, and specifications are met.
• Operate computer systems to check schedules and update manufacturing status.
• Perform operator-based Go-No Go testing as per procedures.
• Monitor the quality of parts used in assembly.
• Assist in training other employees, resolving inquiries and problems.
• Perform material handling activities as required.
• Review assembly processes and suggest improvements for productivity and quality.
• Communicate with engineering to relay accurate information.
• Complete all required paperwork, records, and documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions.
• Follow safety and work rules and regulations.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Complexity of Tasks:

Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and deal with standardized problems involving a few variables.
