Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler at our Modular Mission Critical campus near Sandston, VA.

You will support production by assembling, inspecting, labeling, and moving products, working closely with teammates to meet schedules while upholding safety and quality standards. The role offers hands-on work with hand and power tools, adherence to lean manufacturing practices, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors or team leads.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
• Follow established manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production objectives.
• Participate in and follow lean manufacturing methodologies and manufacturing practices
• Perform other duties as assigned.
