Job summary

You will set the strategic vision, ensure safety and delivery, manage capacity and metrics, and develop salaried production supervisors while partnering with functions across engineering, HR and supply chain. Requires 8+ years in manufacturing; Bachelor degree, MBA preferred; Lean experience; travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline required
• MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Minimum of 3 years supervising salaried employees in a manufacturing environment
• At least three years of Lean Manufacturing experience required
• Ability to train, coach and mentor a team of salaried production supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Communicate goals for support groups (Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain, etc.).
• Accountable for area’s safety, quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Own manufacturing performance metrics and develop continuous improvement action plans.
• Participate in creation of new policies and deployment of new employee policies.
• Monitor capacity to meet requirements of existing and projected customer programs.
• Provide guidance on daily activities to support production.
• Coordinate with cross-functional managers for Quality, HR and Manufacturing programs.

Education
