Job summary

You will mentor salaried production supervisors, develop metrics and continuous improvement plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide policy deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline required.
• MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing-related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising salaried employees in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of Lean Manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to train, coach and mentor a team of salaried production supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
• Communicate goals for support groups (e.g., Engineering, HR, Supply Chain).
• Accountable for area’s safety, quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Own manufacturing performance metrics and develop continuous improvement action plans.
• Participate in creating and deploying new policies for employees.
• Monitor capacity to meet existing and projected customer programs.
• Provide input to cross-functional teams for customer interaction and 8D responses.
• Provide daily guidance to production activities.
• Coordinate with other managers on Quality, HR and Manufacturing programs.
