Job summary

You will develop supervisors and production staff, balance staffing and priorities, monitor performance metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and materials. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, performance management systems, and workforce planning.
• Proven success in Lean, continuous improvement, and root-cause problem solving.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management in high-volume production.
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems, production reporting tools, and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of frontline supervisors and production employees to safely achieve daily production, quality, and delivery goals.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, balancing staffing, resources, and production priorities to meet objectives and customer commitments.
• Monitor operational performance metrics, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency, and engagement.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and open communication by coaching employees and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure employees are trained, cross-trained, and qualified to perform their work safely while supporting workforce development.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to create a safe, productive environment.
• Lead daily operational meetings, coordinate problem-solving efforts, and implement corrective actions to remove barriers and improve workflow.
