Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering for high-volume and prototyping programs.
• Experience owning manufacturing strategy from concept to volume production.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, and ramp-up of integrated assembly operations.
• Strong ability to define strategy and criteria for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Influence product architecture, tolerance strategy, and material selection in real time.
• Define end-to-end manufacturing strategy across build iterations.
• Create frameworks and readiness criteria for build readiness at each stage.
• Develop assembly methods with rapid iteration and reconfigurability.
• Define build instrumentation and data capture to maximize learning per build.
• Drive line concept, design, and equipment specification and commissioning.
• Engage with equipment suppliers and automation integrators.
• Identify opportunities to reduce non-value-added steps and improve flow.
• Standardize assembly processes, control plans, and maintenance strategies.
• Mentor engineers and shape engineering culture.
