Summary

This position involves the production, assembly, and welding of parts for customer plants. Familiarity with production M.I.G. welding equipment and technologies is required.

Job Duties

• Operate welding equipment and perform M.I.G. welding on medium to heavy parts, ensuring quality standards.
• Complete New Employee Orientation (CHRF.00003).
• Manage environmental responsibilities as per EMS Policy CEVPL.00005.
• Understand and manage responsibilities related to the Quality Management System (QMS) as per CQAM.00001.

Requirements

• Previous experience with production MIG welding; Flex Core welding experience is a plus.
• Pass a welding test.
• Record statistical data and meter/gage readings if required.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Work in environments with welding fumes from robots.
• Ability to lift, twist, bend, squat, climb, stand, and walk continuously in confined spaces.
• Wear PPE and welding clothing as required.
• High school education with proficiency in math and reading.
• Work mandatory overtime, 6-7 days per week, as needed.

Working Conditions

• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Stand for up to 10 hours daily with frequent movement and reaching.
• Wear PPE in a manufacturing environment.
