We are seeking a reliable individual for a position as a WELDER/FABRICATOR to join a dedicated and hard-working team in Wilton Campus ASIC Certified fabrication shop.Theideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding, cutting, andfabricating structural steel components according to specifications. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

·Cut, fit, and weld steel components using FCAW, Mig and Stick welding techniques

·Fabricate structural steel components using various tools and machinery

·Perform layout work and ensure proper measurements and alignments

·Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy

·Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment safely (where applicable)

·Maintain a clean and organized workspace

·Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Required Qualifications:

·Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints

·Experience operating fabrication equipment and hand tools

·4+ years of welding/fabrication experience (structural steel preferred)

·NYSDOT and/or AWS certified preferred

·Welding certifications (AWS, or equivalent) are an asset

·Proficient in FCAW/Stick welding

·Be able to work independently and as part of a team

·Ability to work overtime as necessary

·Proficient with reading welding symbols and blueprints

·Knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures

·OSHA 10 certificate preferred (Employer will provide training access if needed)

·Must pass a pre-hire drug screen (Drug Free Employer)

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Salary Range $41,600 - $62,400

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
