Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a motivated Procurement Analyst Intern for Summer 2027 in Columbus, IN. You will support commodity strategy, supplier audits, and supplier management while collaborating with procurement leaders and mentors.

Responsibilities include developing a global sourcing strategy, running RFIs/RFQs, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. Ideal candidates are organized, analytical, and able to work onsite summer 2027.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in SCM or Business Management.
• Proficient with MS Office and highly talented in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sourcing strategy for a global supply chain by mapping the supply base and evaluating supplier performance.
• Execute RFIs and RFQs; conduct supplier audits to benchmark costs and qualifications.
• Minimize supply chain risks through proactive supplier management and relationship building.
• Foster continuous improvement across the supply chain.
