Divergent in Torrance, CA seeks a mid-level Operations Analyst with a manufacturing analytics focus to turn production data into actionable insights. You will apply statistical and ML methods to model time and cost, unifying factory data sources into a cohesive data model.

You will partner with the central Data team to operationalize data and drive cross-functional initiatives, including pricing, capacity, and investment decisions.

Formación

• Access to information subject to US export controls
• Experience in operations analytics or data science in manufacturing
• Hands-on with production data and shop floor execution
• Proficient in Python and data tools
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with ML, anomaly detection, and model evaluation
• Familiarity with manufacturing metrics (OEE, WIP, cycle time)

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate ML models correlating process time, staffing, and data
• Unify equipment, MES, ERP/BOM, staffing, and engineering data into a data model
• Define source mappings, metric definitions, and data quality rules
• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive data-driven improvements
• Lead cross-functional projects from discovery to ROI justification
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for pricing, capacity, and investments
• Communicate data models and outputs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
