Job summary

JEL Manufacturing LLC in Milwaukee, WI, seeks an organized Purchasing/Inventory Coordinator to support the manufacturing manager and engineering team. You will help manage schedules, inventory levels, and supplier communications, and assist with shipping docs and PO processing.

The role requires familiarity with ERP systems (Infor/Syteline/Factor Track), strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work both in shop and office settings.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good teamwork.
• Experience in Purchasing / Inventory / Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Infor/Syteline/Factor Track).
• Experience with Google Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Word/Excel/Publisher.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates the manufacturing calendar; prioritizes schedules.
• Organizes drawings from document management into shop folders; prints as needed.
• Assists in implementing manufacturing procedures, policies, and documentation.
• Supports improvement of manufacturing controls and materials planning functions.
• Tracks and updates product and supply inventories; issues and receives POs.
• Manages daily Syteline transactions and ensures policy compliance.
• Complies with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
