Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing team. You will oversee accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior accounting role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficient in financial analysis, cost accounting, and payroll processes.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to prepare financial statements.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial info clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple tasks.
• High integrity, urgency, and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll and manage accounting operations.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to inform decisions.
• Prepare accurate financial statements on schedule.
• Maintain ledger accuracy and reconciliation routines.
• Apply cost accounting to analyze complex financial data for management.
• Prepare tax returns and corporate reports.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Guide and mentor the accounting team to foster growth.
