Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close processes.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and data integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical mindset and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, GL, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
• Maintain GL integrity and ERP data accuracy.
• Support GAAP, SOX controls, and government contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS).
• Support revenue accounting to ensure accurate and consistent recording in line with company policies.
• Manage payroll, fixed asset, and inventory accounting, including related processes and reporting.
• Support the Controller with cash flow analysis.
• Support audit preparation and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial reporting and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior staff
