Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years in staff accountant role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements, AR/AP.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including variances in labor, materials, and overhead.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
