Job summary

ZipApply is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager for a manufacturing client in Buford, GA. This hands-on role partners with operations to drive cost and managerial accounting, inventory control, job costing and WIP reporting.

You will oversee the general ledger, AP/AR, cash management and month-end close, improve internal controls, and provide financial insights to boost profitability. Salary range is $80,000–$110,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with a strong manufacturing background.
• Extensive experience in cost accounting and managerial accounting.
• Experience with Epicor ERP is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on leadership with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cash management and month-end close.
• Manage manufacturing accounting activities including inventory, job costing, cost analysis and financial reporting with operations to improve profitability.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support decision-making.
