A growing manufacturing organization in Buford, GA, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation and standard costing. This role requires strong cost accounting experience within manufacturing environments and a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. The ideal candidate will analyze manufacturing costs, provide insights to leadership, and support operational improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Strong cost accounting experience within manufacturing environments.
• Deep understanding of inventory management and bill of materials (BOM).
• Proven ability to analyze data and communicate financial insights.
• ERP system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost accounting processes including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain and improve bill of materials (BOM) accuracy and costing structures.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Oversee inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
• Partner with operations to identify cost savings and process improvements.
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requirements related to cost accounting.
