Job summary

ZipApply is seeking an Accounting Manager for Buford, GA manufacturing operations. You will lead day-to-day accounting, integrate with operations, and support profitability improvements. This hands-on role emphasizes cost and managerial accounting, inventory and WIP, and collaboration with manufacturing leaders to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience with a strong manufacturing background.
• Extensive experience in cost accounting and managerial accounting.
• Experience with Epicor ERP is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on leadership style with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and month-end close.
• Manage manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory, job costing, cost analysis, and financial reporting while partnering with operations to improve profitability and business performance.
• Develop and improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
