Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to own the close, reporting, and control environment across locations. You will lead a Senior Accountant, partner with the Plant Controller, and drive accurate month-end and year-end results.

The role requires a CPA, 8+ years in accounting (manufacturing a plus), and a solid grasp of US GAAP, ERP systems, and internal controls. Expect a path to senior controllership with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA highly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of the month-end close and financial reporting.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm) is a strong plus.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience strongly preferred, including exposure to inventory and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS exposure a plus.
• Experience with public company reporting, internal controls, and audit support.
• Strong ERP and financial reporting system experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, OneStream, Hyperion).
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process and ensure timely delivery to Corporate.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reserves.
• Prepare and review financial statements and corporate reporting packages.
• Ensure proper revenue/expense recognition and inventory reporting across locations.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits.
• Lead variance analysis and support budgeting/forecasting with solid accounting inputs.
• Oversee balance sheet analysis including inventory and fixed assets.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Plant Finance to resolve issues.
