Job summary

Newmar Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting leader to guide close processes, general ledger management, and SOX compliance within a manufacturing environment. You will oversee product costing, inventory controls, and audit coordination, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

The role requires a CPA/CMA preference and a track record of developing the accounting team while improving processes and ERP reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred.
• Significant progressive accounting leadership experience, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading financial close processes and coordinating internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate, timely statements in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, payroll accounting, intercompany activity, and reconciliations.
• Manage internal controls and SOX compliance, including documentation and issue follow-ups.
• Oversee product costing, standard costs, inventory valuation, cycle counts, and manufacturing margin analysis.
• Serve as primary accounting contact for audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Coordinate treasury, tax, and regulatory accounting support and cash controls.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, IT, and finance for budgeting and forecasting.
• Improve accounting processes, documentation, and ERP reporting.
